Cancer Survivors’ Bill Reaches the Senate!
The Comprehensive Cancer Care Improvement Act, S. 2790 was introduced in the Senate this week! S. 2790 is the companion to H.R. 1078, which now has nearly 100 co-sponsors in the House. Having a bill in the Senate as well moves important cancer care planning that much closer to becoming a reality. This bill will improve cancer care by ensuring that cancer survivors have access to care plans and survivorship plans that will enhance their decision-making about treatment and assist them in managing all elements of their care.
Please contact your senators and urge them to become co-sponsors of S. 2790, the Comprehensive Cancer Care Improvement Act.
