I have experimenting with Applying Oils on the body to relax my Anxiety (also SAD).
Since I don’t want to use allopathic drugs, I need some other way to relax. I have found Oil application to the best so far. I also meditate & do breathing exercises.
I want to refine this further & am curious to see if any of you guys use it. The basic idea is from ayurveda but I havent seen much material on it.
Here’s what I do. Apply a combination of organic sesame oil & coconut oil for about 30mins to an hour every morning & then take bath & using soap sparingly.
I find that when I mix coconut oil to the sesame oil & Massage it almost knocks me out. Kinda like how you feel when you are drunk (well without the intoxicating effect)
looking up the properties of coconut oil, it is said to cooling & heavy.
