Jacob was 10 weeks on Monday and had his checkup today.
He was 6lb 15oz when born and 6lbs 4oz after being released from CHOP with an Ileostomy for his TCHD.
His weigh in today he was 13lbs 9oz
I keep reading how children with HD have a problem gaining and maintaining weight, so I am hoping that we are just very lucky with his progress so far.
I’d say your little guy is thriving quite well. That is great news!

That is great- obviously he is feeling well if he can gain that much weight. My 4 month old is around 16 pounds and he is chubby.

My little guy does have the opposite problem. He just turned 13 months and finally hit 19 pounds!! He’s a tall, skinny lad!

I know they say “failure to thrive”. Joshua is 7 months old born at 6lb9oz, and is now over 22lb, he is growing and thriving, so be heartened, it can continue, i’m praying Joshua does
that is great news!!! I was worried about weight gain as well but max is doing go so far, 13.8 at 13 wks, so you have us beat!
