I wonder how many of you were born with this or were you injured?
Mine was caused by a fall over 20 yrs ago. I was waxing a kitchen floor & fell flat on my back. I didn’t see a doctor until recently who took an x-ray & diagnosed the problem. I had an MRI done about 10 days ago & still waiting to hear the results.
I READ MY FIRST MRI IMPRESSIONS AND THEY CALLED MY STENOSIS "CONGENITAL". BUT I DON'T THINK SO.
I SLIPPED ON ICE AND FELL RIGHT ON MY TAIL BONE, I HAD A COMPOUND FRACTURE AT MY LEFT ANKLE SO NO ONE CARED ABOUT MY BACK. WHEN THE ANKLE WAS HEALED , AND I COULD WALK AGAIN IS WHEN I NOTICED MY BACK HURT.
THAT WAS JULY 2000, MY FALL HAPPENED IN FEB. WELL, NO DOCS WOULD LISTEN TO ME, AND PASSED IT OFF AS MUSCLE ATROPHY, UNTILL ONE FINALLY TOOK AN X-RAY IN OCTOBER 2004. SO WHEN THEY FOUND IT, I'D HAD IT FOR A LONG TIME. ALSO , WOULDN'T I HAVE BACK TROUBLE ALL ALONG? I NEVER DID, EVEN WORKING DOUBLE AND TRIPLE SHIFTS, ON MY FEET ALL BUT A FEW BREAKS. I NEVER HAD BACK PAIN. MY HANDS WOULD HURT, MY FEET WOULD HURT, BUT NOT MY BACK...NOT UNTILL THAT FALL. STOUTSABOUT
