What is the expected duration for Lichen Planus?
My doctor told me that a person with lichen planus can have it for one to three years before the skin disease settles but if you come back in contact with the thing that made you react you could start the process over and it could get worst. For example when I deployed to Iraq I got lichen planus for the first time and only had a scar on my right thigh but before going thru the settling process completely I was deployed again the following year and the process started over with me ending up with scars all over my legs and back.
