DeeJay,
Oh my gosh!! What a horrible thing for a mother to tell her child and hold
over you!!! I didn’t have a good relation with my parents, but which them,
it was mainly detachment. No closeness, I grew up calling my father by his
first name, and my mother ‘gum’. Weird.
Man, I have reached a place in my life where a lot of people I know are
dying too. My best friend died of cancer almost 2 year ago now. It was only
about a year from the time she found the lump, and no treatment stopped it
from spreading. But I know she is in heaven, and I think about her all the
time, and how happy she is, and that I’ll see her again. I think she’ll be
part of the welcome committee when it’s my time.
I personally don’t know any anyone gets through this life w/o knowing God.
Oh, you know something, you are the 3rd person in the last week or so that
I know that has a problem with the AC!!!
Glad you joined the chat.

Hi Dawn~
Starting to freak out a little over here. I have had a “NORMAL” day!!! I can’t believe it and I hate writing this b/c I’m sure I just jinxed myself. I just got back from a neighbors dtr birthday party. The whole block was there and I felt great. It didn’t hit me until I sat down and relaxed that I actually never felt pain. I even enjoyed being with Owen who was non stop activity. I didn’t get frustrated with him at all. I’m really trying to stay positive and have been praying a lot. I do believe it’s mind over matter. I also have tried to cut down my caffeine intake to one pepsi a day.
Have you been on Paxil long? I was considering Xanax to calm my nerves. Any suggestions, comments, etc. on that one? Sorry to hear your not feeling well. Does Joshua let you rest? It’s so hard to be sick and dealing w/ a seven year old. May I ask if your married/work?
Tanner just came in and told me he’s ready for bed. He won’t go to bed w/o me reading to him. I will email tomorrow. Get some rest and drink plenty of fluids. I know two people who have had this bug. It’s a fever and gone in 24 hours. Hang in there!!!
Chris
Hi Chris,
No Fruitful Yield. We have Whole Foods, Jimbo’s, Orchards, and Henry’s,
which used to be Boney’s, for healthy stores.
I have one son, Joshua, he is 7.
You have a good weekend too.
Oh, BTW: I am now feeling way better since about 10 days ago when I cut my
Paxil dose from 20 mg. to 15 mg. I was really having some withdrawal with
that cut, but praise God I feel okay now. I have some bug that’s going
around though. Sore body/glands, don’t feel great. I would say ‘kids’, but
Joshua doesn’t have it!!! You know, it’s mild enough though that a 7 yr. old
could have had it and I might not have known. Started out with a really
upset stomach for a couple of days, that’s gone now.

Chris,
That is great news!!! And I had a wonderful day too!! I woke up calm for the
first time in months, and was calm all day.
Just praising God!! Prayer does change things.
I have been on Paxil 7 years. Went on it 6 mo. after Joshua was born. Weaned
off it 3 times, but always went back on it. This time I’m done with it.
I was given Xanax once when I was 22 and getting a divorce because my
husband had turned into a druggy. That was at the time I got the heart pain,
and found out I had MVP. (Mitral valve prolapse). At the time I really had
no idea what Xanax was, and it was not the heart doc that gave it to me. It
was a reg. doc who recognized I was stressed out. I got addicted to it
really fast. I must have used it for a couple of months, maybe longer, I
really can’t remember, and I took it 3x a day. I finally went off it cold
turkey, and it was over with in a few days. Not like getting off an SSRI. In
more recent times, I have been given Klonpin, which is a longer acting form
of Xanax. It really does work, but if you take it too much, you can get
addicted to it. You might try Sleepy Time tea, which you can get almost
anywhere. I know someone who’s husband has panic attacks, and she told me it
really works for him, and I have tried it and it really did work.
I am married, my husband’s name is Keith. I am a dog breeder, and I work
from home. Visit my website, www.reddogsranch.com
My son Joshua is VERY active. He’s so much like me it floors me. He almost
never sits still, but he’s not hyper active, just busy. He like to have
someone to play with continually, and he’s been high maintenance like this
since the day he was born. He does not allow me much rest. 1 more week and
school will start again!! He’s going into 2nd grade.
He doesn’t like to go to sleep unless I snuggle with him. I just figure the
day will come that he won’t want to snuggle mom anymore, so I better enjoy
it while I can.
The bug I have doesn’t sound like the one you mentioned. No fever, and it’s
been a few days now. Started with a queasy stomach, and turned into sore
glands/body.
