Zofran

My nausua is bascially non controllable. All the reg. meds don’t work. The dr. prescribed zofran for me my ins. denied it ( i have medicare) The put me onn tigan which doesn’t work worth s—.

I could never paid for it out of my pocket it is so expensive for 10 pills generic is $269. I went to the er once and when I was released they wrote a rx for zofran, which was what they were giving me in the hospital. Again denied.

This has been going on for months. The other day i got so nasueas I threw up. The hospital had sent me home with 2 samples of zofran. I had to take one, THIS IS NOT A LIE MY NAUSEA WAS GONE IN 5 MINS.

I called the pharmacy to see if they could help me. They said to call around to pharmacies and they will match the price.

I found a pharmacy that sold generic zofram 10 pills 4mg for 12.36. My pharmacy price $269, they matched the price and I paid $10.23 for a med I was told I couldn’t have and my Dr. office said that there was nothing I could do.

Ask your pharmacy about matching prices, if you are denied.

This is a gift from God, it has helped so much.

Bravo - persistence pays off - I am amazed that your had the ability to do
all this - you should be very proud of yourself. Sometimes you can work with
the manufacturer as well.

In love and light,

Patsy

I agree with patricia, your pharmacist is your best friend when it comes to meds, they can help so much. I am so glad you got relief LB. I spent my days vomiting and becoming dehydrated. Even NOT EATING anything that normally upsets a stomach and I was sick. I would get the dry heaves and sound like a wounded elephant…
thanks be for those angels (like your pharmacist) that we are supported by… couldn’t make it without them.
