hi, my name is sharon. i just found out about 3 months ago i have ic. i wanted to meet some people in my area to talk about it. who also have ic.
I have had Lupus since I was 22, and I am now 53yrs. old. I also have Fibromyalgia, and a host of other malady’s. I just like to keep in contact with people who have chronic illness and can relate to all the “bad” day, as well as enjoying a few “good” days, and having someone “really understand” that can offer support, and lend an ear for those days I feel like I need to “vent”.
I have suffered in and out of depression for about 10 years, I was a pre-teen on anti depressants. My family also suffers currently and I just want to learn more about why it happens and how to deal with your family members being despressed.
Hello - I have been sad for many years now and I thought that I would get over it someday. My doctor has recommended anti-depression medication, which I am not keen on. I wanted to get some opinions and facts on the condition.
I am retired 29years in the Marine Corps. I have been healthy most of my life.I now have pain in my face nose and forehead most of the time.I have been to every kind of Dr. not finding out whats wrong.I have almost givin up .
Just want some more knowledge on depression and ways that people overcome or live with it.

My name is Glo,
I am a 71 year old. I was diagnosed with RF in 2005. I have had several surgeries I can’t even keep track. Most of us same to have the same stories.
I enjoy all of the postings. My daughter has been a blessing to have found this site. I wish you all well.
I am a struggling student who has lost all hope. I had no child and now i am not having a adult hood. How to survive, how to live. Anybody who think they can help.
I have had RSD for 10 years. I was “blessed” with this horrible condition after hand surgery. I’ve had ganglion blocks without relief. I take oxycontin & other meds that don’t relieve it all the time. Now I’ve had surgery for a torn rotator cuff & my RSD is flared up horribly. I’m so tired of constant pain. I am an RN, unable to work. Widowed 3 yrs ago. Trying to live on social security. Yes, I have depression & feel pretty hopeless at times. I have a close friend whom I talk to, but it doesn’t seem to help anymore. I am a Christian believer & prayer seems to help more than anything. Losing my husband, having breast cancer, bankruptcy, having to sell my home, 2 mini-strokes left me with memory loss, 2 other surgeries have left me depleted! Sorry for whining. There are so many others with worse problems than mine!
I have had spinal stinosis, and am being treated for it,
also know Iam a case that cannot be cured, but maybe helped…(?)
My son who is 9 years old has ODD. We are about at our wits end. Nothing seems to make a difference. I just cant reach him. I want to find a way to help him. Get him to mind. Find a program where they specialize more in this problem.
My boyfriend has the condition he also has ied
I was first diagnosed with IC back in the 90’s and opted for a surgery that allowed me to go in remission from re-occurring UTI’s and constant pain for about 4 yrs. IC has slowly crept back upon me and is now in full force again causing extreme pain and I have had 6 UTI’s just this year alone. I am going to a Urologist Specialist tomorrow for my first visit to discuss the possibility of an interstim in my back. Does anyone have an interstim? If so, can you tell me about it? I would appreciate anything else anyone might have to offer about pain management, etc. Thanks.
I was first diagnosed with IC in the 90’s. I went through all of the treatments available at that time and then opted for a surgery that put me in remission for about 4 years. IC has not hit me again full force…I am in constant pain and am trying different treatment options again. I have an appt with a Urologist Specialist tomorrow to discuss the possibility of an interstim for pain management. Does anyone have an interstim? Can anyone share with me what they use for pain management, etc.? Thanks.
Hi, I’m a husband that is at it’s last resort… marriage is on the rocks badly… just because I dont know how to deal with her depression… I need help.
Hi
I have Darier’s disease and would be intersted in a survey being done on how many sufferers have mental problems, depression, manic depressive episodes, and bipolar disorder.
Regards
Norman
