Patholgical lying

I always have interpreted the sudden urge to throw up, when I’m upset about something…as my brain refusing to hold on anymore, to something I had previously swallowed.

It sounds like youre going through that sickening process of refusing to hold onto your own things anymore.

I’m wishing you lots of luck with that.

Its an unnerving experience for sure.

“I did not have sexual relations with that woman”-Bill Clinton

“Facts are stupid things”- Ronald Reagan

“Read my lips. No new taxes.” - George H. W. Bush.

Is it hard to see why our N’s think they are on the right path?

I suppose as Ns are lying to THEMSELVES first and foremost…its not surprising that they lie to others.
their whole existance seems fake and fraudulant…truth hurts

“There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don’t know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don’t know we don’t know.”- Donald Rumsfeld

There’s the art of talking in circles. Sound like anyone you know???

How about that woman: Casey and her missing baby, Calee? That is the absolute worst! They are calling her names from pathological liar to narcissist to sociopath. It is so upsetting to me that I am angered by her arrogance.

who’s that Mariel Lee?

I’m not familiar.

Mariel Lee,
'
My girlfriend and I have been watching that case for a while. I’m not qualified to say whats wrong with the girl but it sure sets off my BPD/NPD radar I’ve developed. I think what really got to me was when she slipped on the phone call in jail and almost said nobody cares about her they just care about the missing kid. She reminds of my ex a bit, finding a story and sticking to it.

Phoenix, Casey is the mom and her little girl is Caylee. Casey claims her daughter was kidnapped by the nanny, however, relatives did not know and the authorities were not called until a month after she supposedly went missing. They put Casey in jail after she led them on a wild goose chase looking for the supposed kidnapper… but apparently the places she said she lived weren’t occupied… and she never worked at the places she claimed.

I’m not good at paying attention to this stuff, so the details might be way off. Apparently nobody ever actually met the nanny. Also, cadaver dogs supposedly got a hit on her car.

She still firmly claims she was kidnapped and they keep releasing her jail house phone conversations on the news. She shows very little concern for her missing child, and isn’t being very helpful to authorities.

where is this taking place? it sounds dreadful.

Orange County, Florida I believe.

have you seen Gone Baby Gone?

that movie reminds me very much of the kids I work with and the environment/value system they come from…

the true life story you described sounds similar…ugh

I haven’t seen that movie.

The news around here can get a bit depressing. I have a bad habit of watching the news and then wondering which personality disorder is causing it.
